Large wildfires are spreading across parts of Spain and France as a strong heatwave continues to affect southern Europe.
In Spain, firefighters are working to control a major wildfire in Guadalajara, where thousands of hectares of land have been burned.
Several areas have been evacuated as emergency teams use fire engines and aircraft to stop the flames from spreading.
Officials warned that high temperatures, dry land, and strong winds are making it harder to control the fires and increasing the risk of new ones.
France is also facing serious wildfires, especially in southern areas. Large areas of forests and land have been destroyed, while firefighters continue efforts to bring the
fires under control.
Some communities have been evacuated as authorities work to protect residents from the danger.
Authorities said the ongoing heatwave, dry weather, and lack of rain are making wildfire conditions worse.
Firefighters across both countries are continuing their work as officials urge people to follow safety advice and avoid activities that could start new fires.
