President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed condolences to French President Emmanuel Macron following a fatal plane crash in the town of Tomblaine in north-eastern France.
In a message sent to President Macron, President Muizzu said he was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic accident, which claimed the lives of the pilot and all passengers on board.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, President Muizzu extended his sincere sympathies to President Macron, the Government of France, and the
French people during this difficult time.
The President also offered his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the crash and expressed his best wishes for the success of the ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
