President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has hailed the success of his administration’s foreign policy, highlighting that this year’s Independence Day celebrations saw the largest gathering of foreign diplomats in the country over the past decade.

Delivering his address at the official ceremony commemorating the nation's Independence Day, President Muizzu revealed that 113 foreign diplomats representing 43 nations and 5 United Nations agencies participated in the event.

The President emphasized that the strong international turnout serves as clear evidence of the success of the administration's "Maldives First" foreign policy. He noted that maintaining positive and proactive relations with foreign partners relies directly on the strong cooperation and support provided by friendly nations, states, and multilateral organizations.

Expressing appreciation on behalf of the Maldivian state, government, and citizens, President Muizzu extended his gratitude to all international partners and representatives who joined in celebrating the country's national milestone.

"113 diplomats from 43 countries and 5 UN agencies are participating in this year's Independence Day celebrations," President Muizzu stated. "This marks the highest number of foreign representatives attending our Independence Day in the past 10 years. This demonstrates the success of our foreign

policy, achieved through the cooperation and support of all our friendly states and international bodies."
