President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended congratulations and best wishes to Singapore on the occasion of the country’s National Day.
In a message, President Muizzu conveyed greetings to Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and the people of Singapore.
He said the Maldives values the strong friendship between the two countries, describing their relationship as being based on mutual trust, respect and a shared commitment to regional peace and development.
President Muizzu also wished Singapore continued progress, unity and prosperity, while expressing hope that the close ties between the Maldives and Singapore would continue to grow.
