An adult and a child escaped serious injury after a high-speed luxury Lamborghini flipped over and crashed into solar panel support structures along the Hulhumalé Bridge Highway on Friday morning.

MALÉ: A speeding luxury Lamborghini flipped over on the Hulhumalé Bridge Highway on Friday morning after crashing into the metal support structures of solar panels installed along the road.
The Maldives Police Service confirmed that the incident was reported at approximately 8:42 a.m.
According to police, the sports car was traveling at high speed when it lost control, struck nearby light poles and metal frames, and flipped onto its roof. The collision bent the heavy metal supports, causing sections of the solar panel infrastructure to collapse.
The vehicle sustained extensive damage in the impact.
An adult and a child were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Both individuals were transported to Tree Top Hospital in Hulhumalé for medical assessment and treatment. Authorities confirmed that neither passenger suffered serious injuries.
Videos circulating on social media showed the adult and a young boy stepping out of the damaged vehicle and walking away shortly after the accident occurred.
Police officers attended the scene to clear the damaged vehicle and secure the area. An active investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash remains ongoing.
