Sanaa: Yemen’s Houthi have accused Saudi Arabia of carrying out an air strike on a prison in the northern city of al-Hazm, resulting in the deaths of seven people, including a child.
The strike reportedly hit the Central Corrective Facility in Hazm, the capital of Jawf province, amid renewed fighting between Houthi forces and forces backed by Saudi Arabia.
According to a spokesman for the Houthi-run health ministry, at least seven others were injured in the attack, including a woman.
The Houthis condemned the reported strike, while accusing Saudi Arabia of further escalating military operations in Yemen.
Saudi Arabia had not immediately issued a response to the allegation at the time of reporting.
