Police have arrested a 28 year old Maldivian man accused of sexually abusing his three year old daughter and recording the abuse.

Male’: Maldives Police have arrested the father of a three year old girl on allegations of sexually abusing the child and recording the abuse.
Police said the 28 year old Maldivian man was arrested in connection with the case in an island under the South Central Police Region.
The man was arrested last Friday under a court order and was presented before the court to determine his remand.
The court subsequently ordered that he be remanded in custody for 30 days.
Police are continuing to investigate the case.
