The structural work of Malé’s Creator Hub has been completed, with finishing works now underway. The BCC-developed facility will support creators, entrepreneurs, and SMEs when it opens in November 2026.

MALE’ – Maldives: The structural construction of the Creator Hub main building in Malé has been completed, with the project now moving into its final development phase, the Business Center Corporation (BCC) has announced.
According to BCC, all structural works have reached 100 percent completion, while masonry works are at 97 percent. Plumbing works have reached 75 percent completion, and electrical installation and painting works have also started as the project progresses toward completion.
The 11-storey Creator Hub is one of BCC’s major initiatives aimed at developing the Maldives’ creative economy. BCC Managing Director Ibrahim Ziyaau Mohamed said the corporation is working to ensure the facility opens as a fully equipped centre where creators can access the services and resources they need.
He said the goal is to support the growth of a creative economy in line with the vision of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu by providing a dedicated space for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Once completed, the Creator Hub will feature modern production studios and co-working spaces for artists, designers, programmers, and digital content creators. The facility will include specialised areas for photography, video production, audio recording, and editing.
BCC also plans to relocate its key services for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to the building, including business consultancy and advisory services. The facility will also include an Authentic Maldives outlet.
The government views the Creator Hub as an important project to diversify the economy and create new digital opportunities for young people. President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has previously announced that the facility is scheduled to officially open on November 11, 2026.
