Two Chinese tourists have passed away after being discovered unconscious while swimming at a resort in Dhaalu Atoll and rushed to the regional hospital.

KUDAHUVADHOO : Two Chinese tourists have died after being found unconscious in the sea at a resort in Dhaalu Atoll.
Police, citing the Dhaalu Atoll Hospital in Kudahuvadhoo, confirmed that both individuals were already deceased when brought to the hospital.
The deceased have been identified as a Chinese man and a Chinese woman.
Police had initially received reports that the two tourists were discovered unresponsive in the water while swimming and were being urgently transported to the hospital.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
