Gaza, Palestine: The death toll in Gaza has risen to 73,910 Palestinians since October 7, 2023, according to Palestinian health authorities, as Israeli attacks continue across the territory despite a ceasefire.
Gaza hospitals received four bodies and 17 injured Palestinians over the past 48 hours, according to health officials. The latest figures also include 85 deaths added after authorities completed verification of previously recorded cases.
Health authorities said 174,914 Palestinians have been injured since the conflict began. They added that some victims remain beneath rubble or on roads where emergency crews have been unable to reach them.
The latest casualties come amid continued reports of Israeli strikes in different parts of Gaza. Reuters reported that Israeli airstrikes on Saturday killed at least three Palestinians, including the son of Gaza’s Health Ministry director general.
According to Palestinian health authorities, 1,390 Palestinians have been killed and 4,801 injured in Gaza since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025. A total of 831 bodies have also been recovered during the same period.
The Israeli military has said its forces have targeted militants in recent strikes, while Palestinian authorities have reported civilian casualties. The circumstances and responsibility for individual incidents have been disputed in some cases.
The latest figures bring the reported Palestinian death toll from the conflict to 73,910, while the health authorities’ figures remain subject to further verification as bodies are recovered and casualty records are updated.
