A 54 year old Kazakh tourist has died after going diving while holidaying in Fuvahmulah, with hospital officials saying he was brought in already deceased.

Fuvahmulah: A 54 year old Local Tiu from Kazakhstan has died after going diving while on holiday in Fuvahmulah, with hospital officials confirming he was brought to Fuvahmulah Hospital in a deceased state.
The man was brought to the hospital at around 9:02am, according to hospital officials, who said he had already died by the time he arrived.
Local reports indicate the tourist entered the water for a diving trip at around 8:00am on Thursday morning.
The circumstances surrounding his death have not been disclosed by authorities, and further details about the incident were not immediately available.
Fuvahmulah is a popular diving destination that attracts tourists from various countries, with diving among the activities commonly undertaken by visitors to the city.
The city also receives visitors for local tourism and has developed a reputation as a destination for marine activities.
The deceased tourist’s body is currently at Fuvahmulah Hospital, while arrangements concerning the deceased are expected to be made by the relevant authorities.
