MALÉ: The Maldivian government has strongly condemned recent military attacks carried out by Houthi forces targeting civilian residential areas and critical economic facilities across southern Saudi Arabia.
In an official statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the government denounced strikes directed at Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran. The statement highlighted that the attacks injured numerous civilians, including women and children, and described the offensive as a violation of Saudi Arabia’s territorial sovereignty and regional stability.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs assured that the government and citizens of the Maldives stand firmly alongside the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia during this period.
