A 62 year old man injured in a collision between a car and motorcycle in Hulhumale' is receiving treatment in the intensive care unit after undergoing head surgery.

Hulhumale’: A 62 year old Maldivian man injured in a road accident in Hulhumale’ remains in the intensive care unit at Tree Top Hospital.
Police said the accident occurred at around 7:36am on August 31 at the intersection connecting Dhunburigas Magu and Heenamaa Hingun in Hulhumale’ Phase 2.
The man was riding a motorcycle when it collided with a car, leaving him injured.
According to information provided to police by the man’s family, he suffered bleeding on the right side of his brain and underwent surgery on his head on August 31.
He is currently receiving treatment in the ICU at Tree Top Hospital.
