A mass funeral has been held in Gaza for 112 members of two Palestinian families who were killed in an Israeli airstrike.
The victims, including dozens of children, were buried together after their bodies were recovered from the rubble of a destroyed residential area. Relatives and residents gathered to mourn the loss of entire families who were killed in the attack.
The strike was part of the ongoing conflict in Gaza, where thousands of civilians have been killed since the war began. Gaza health authorities have reported that the overall death toll has risen above 73,000, with the majority of casualties reported as civilians.
Humanitarian agencies have warned that many bodies remain trapped under collapsed buildings, meaning the actual number of deaths could be higher.
