Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) confirmed today that Velana International Airport (VIA) and its primary VIP lounge have been shortlisted for international honors at the upcoming World Travel Awards 2026.

According to MACL, the nominations reflect the ongoing efforts to modernize airport services and elevate customer experience at the nation’s primary gateway.
