Ukraine has launched fresh long-range drone strikes on Russia, with Russian authorities reporting at least nine deaths. The attacks targeted several regions as fighting between the two countries continues.

Ukraine launched another wave of long-range drone strikes on Russian territory, with Russian authorities reporting at least nine people killed in attacks on the Krasnodar region and Russian-controlled Crimea.
According to Russian officials, six people were killed in the Krasnodar region after a drone struck near a beach area, while three others died in Crimea. Dozens more were injured. Russia accused Ukraine of targeting civilian areas, though Kyiv has not commented on the claims.
The attacks also targeted military and energy facilities, including the Engels air base and the Saratov oil refinery, as Ukraine continues its campaign against Russian military infrastructure far from the front lines. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said the strikes are aimed at weakening Russia’s military logistics and reducing its ability to sustain the war.
Meanwhile, Russia launched fresh attacks on Ukraine, striking the southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs. Ukrainian officials said one person was killed and more than 30 others were injured, with residential buildings suffering extensive damage.
The latest exchange of attacks comes as the war continues with no breakthrough in peace efforts, while both sides increasingly rely on drones to strike targets deep inside each other’s territory.
