At least five people have died after a passenger ferry caught fire in Indonesia, while rescue teams continue searching for missing passengers. Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze.

At least five people have died and 41 others are missing after a passenger ferry caught fire off Indonesia’s Madura Island, authorities said.
The ferry, Mutiara Sentosa 2, was carrying 271 people, including 232 passengers and 39 crew members, while travelling from Surabaya to Makassar when the fire broke out.
Rescue teams have saved more than 220 people, while search operations continue for those still missing. Some passengers jumped into the sea to escape the flames and thick smoke.
The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed, and authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
