President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has awarded the National Award for Public Service to 66 individuals who completed more than 41 years of dedicated service to the State.
MALÉ, Maldives: President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has conferred the National Award for Public Service on 66 individuals in recognition of their long and dedicated service to the State.
The awards were presented during the official ceremony held at the Malé Centre for Social Education to mark the Maldives’ 61st Independence Day.
Each recipient honoured today has completed more than 41 years of service to the State and had not previously received this national recognition.
The awards were presented with commemorative shields and badges as a symbol of appreciation for their contributions.
The recipients were identified following
an initiative by President Muizzu to recognise eligible individuals who had dedicated many years to public service.
The President’s Office reviewed and verified the service records of nominees before submitting them to the National Awards Committee, which later confirmed that the recipients met the required criteria.
