BEIRUT: At least 11 people, including two children and two medics, have been killed in Israeli strikes on Kfar Rumman in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s state news agency.
The strikes early Monday hit a residential building and a vehicle carrying medics, Lebanese officials said. Five people were also reported wounded.
The attacks come amid renewed fighting between Israel and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, despite a ceasefire agreement reached earlier this year.
Lebanese authorities have accused Israel of escalating its military operations in the south, while Israel says its strikes target Hezbollah-related threats.
