Maldivian shoppers can now pay for Global Dukan purchases in local currency through a new payment service introduced by Maldives Post.

Maldives Post has introduced a new payment service allowing Maldivian customers to pay for Global Dukan purchases in rufiyaa and have orders delivered across the Maldives
Shopping from popular Indian online stores has become easier for Maldivian customers with a new payment service introduced through Maldives Post.
The service allows customers to buy products through Global Ducan without needing to make payments using international cards or foreign currency.
At checkout, customers can select “Pay through Maldives Post.” They will then receive instructions to complete the payment in Maldivian rufiyaa.
The service also connects online shopping with Maldives Post’s delivery network.
Maldives Post said products purchased through Global Ducan can be delivered to islands across the Maldives through its partnership with India Post.
Customers do not need an address in India to use the platform.
Global Ducan gives Maldivians access to a wide range of products sold by major Indian online retailers.
These include Amazon, Meesho, Flipkart, Nykaa, Nykaa Fashion and IKEA.
Customers can shop for fashion and lifestyle products, electronics, household items, beauty products and other goods.
The new payment option is expected to make cross-border online shopping more convenient for Maldivians, while giving local customers easier access to products from the Indian market.
