GAZA: Two Palestinians have been killed in the latest Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, according to local reports, as continued violence raises concerns over the fragile ceasefire.

One Palestinian was killed in an attack near Nuseirat in central Gaza, while another died from injuries sustained during an earlier attack in Gaza City.

The Gaza Health Ministry said 1,574 Palestinians had been killed and 5,687 injured since the ceasefire came into effect in October 2025. The figures were released on Thursday.

Continued Attacks and Humanitarian Concerns

Reports also indicate that Israeli artillery and gunfire targeted several areas, including Beit Lahia, Gaza City, Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah.

Displaced Palestinians in Khan Younis were also reportedly exposed to gunfire near their tents. No injuries were reported in those particular incidents.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Health Ministry has called for the reopening of the Rafah crossing, saying 21,468 patients and wounded people need to travel abroad for medical treatment, including 6,430 priority cases.

The latest reports highlight continuing security and humanitarian challenges in Gaza despite the ceasefire.
